-The Paladin
I think the paladin is the best choice out there. It isn't spell dependent like the sorcerer or the druid, nor is it melee dependent like the knight. A paladin is a mix of both magic and fighting (mostly distance). A paladin can use all of the skills. Of course its main skill is Distance but you can also gain others fairly fast. Your magic level is very important to raise too. Never have full mana, always be using magic.

-Side Note
tibia.erig.net/Main_Page
This website is one of the greatest sources for information on tibia. You can find info on where to hunt, items, creatures, etc...

-Levels 8-13
I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news but this will be the most boring part of your tibia career. All you can hunt/train on are trolls. Trolls are one of the easiest creatures to kill in tibia. Hence the reason you will be killing them. I promise you it will be better once you get lvl 13 but for now...its trolls for a little while. Just hang in there and you can do it in 2-4 days depending on how much time you spend. Il explain where to hunt trolls in my next bit.

-Equipment
This part doesn't really matter right now. All you need is what you had on Rook. You may want to mooch/find a better shield but you dont need to. So long as you still have the weapon your fine. You will just pick up spears as you hunt trolls so your fine there also.

-Main
So you go to the Oracle and what city do you choose? Well it really doesn't matter all that much. It more depends on where your friends are and whatnot. Any of the three cities for Free Account are fine. No matter where you start, the first thing you should do is buy the Light spell which uses the words "Utevo Lux". To find where to buy this spell consult the website i gave you earlier.

If you choose Carlin just take the walk east to Ab'dendriel and hunt trolls in the Shadow Cave.

If you choose Venore walk west out of the city and take the path going north west until you come to the dwarf bridge. Backtrack a little bit going along the swamp until you find a path going north through the swamp. Once you start seeing a couple trolls you know your in the right spot. The hole to the cave is behind an old tree just to the right of the broken down shack you should see. If you have a hard time finding it look up "hunting spots" in Tibia Wiki (the website i gave you) and it is under Venore called "Dusalk's Clan Troll Cave"

If you choose Thais there is a troll cave if you follow the east out of the city then go south east until you see several fires. If you go a little more south east then you should see several rock piles. Dig in the pile that is farthest east. And voila! There is the cave. Be careful though because there are some things that are a little hard for a level 8. Consult the Wiki before you enter.

Now if your premmy your lucky. You have it MUCH easier. All you do is go to Edron and hunt the troll/goblin peninsula, again, consult the wiki as for how to get there because it is kind of hard to explain.

Once you get level 9 go and buy the Light Healing spell "Exura".

There is no easy way for the first few levels. You just have to grit your teeth and keep on going. Like i said, it gets fun at level 13.

-Level 13-20
Congrats on making through the hardest part of tibia xD! I remember when i got my first pally to level 13 I was SO excited that I could now make arrows. Alas, its not as fun as it sounds because now you get to Mana Sit  doesn't that just sound fun? lol but seriously it isn't all that bad. Sometime when your doing homework or doing other things on your computer just have your guy sit in a fairly safe location and make arrows. If you don't have the patience for this I understand. What you can do is hunt with arrows while making them. Once you run out pull out your trusty weapon and hunt that way.

-Equipment
By now you should have made enough money to buy a plate set (plate armor, steel helmet, and plate legs). If you don't have enough just save some more. You should at least have a dwarven shield at this time if not better so long as you can afford it. You should also have a better weapon for while your making arrows and hunting.

-Hunting (I am calling it that now because it's ACTUAL hunting now)
Ok I'll start with premmy this time. You guys can either hunt Darashia rotworm caves or some of the easier tombs in/near Ankrahmun. Consult the wiki for where and which ones are right for your skill level.

Free accounts have several choices as well now. If your in Ab you should hunt in Elvenbane. Obviously i wouldn't suggest trying to kill a Minotaur Guard. So long as you stay to the lower two levels that are underground your fine. Use your arrows to the full advantage of distance. Run around tables and such so you don't get hurt too bad. STAY AWAY FROM THE ORC BERSERKER AT THE TOP OF THE TOWERS!!! This is your only warning. If you try and take one on you will more then likely die.

If your in Venore you have two choices. The first is to go to the Amazon Peninsula that is north of Venore. Or you can go to the south and go to the swamp troll/rotworm cave. Go to the south entrance to Venore and go down to ground level. Walk south, when the road spits shortly after the town go to the west. When it splits again go south. You will come to a small hill, go up and continue, go down once you get to the other side. Head strait south until you hit the coast. Then go east and you should see a pile of rocks. Use your shovel on the rocks and you have found the entrance.

If you are in Thais then you have the best place to hunt in free account. Look up the Fibula Peninsula on the wiki. So long as you have 850 gp then you have one of the best hunting places for levels 13-30. One part of the cave is a HUGE rotworm cave. This will take you easily to level 20.

You can also hunt in Kazordoon but I never really liked hunting there. There are always a lot of people but if you wish to then go ahead. You can hunt most of the mines but beware of Dwarf Gaurds because they will kill you very fast.

I would also suggest to go out and take some risks. Don't go and get yourself killed but go and explore a little bit using the wiki. I realize that there may be more places to hunt then I have listed. I am only telling what works the best in my opinion.

Now i haven't yet talked about training at this point. This is because i think training is pointless unless your planning on making a PK character. By training i mean using a summoned monk and throwing spears at it.

-Level 20+
The great thing about being a Paladin is that if you can run as fast as the thing your trying to kill then you can hunt it. The basic thing to hunt at this level are Cyclops. So long as you have distance level 45 but preferably 50 then Cyclops are going to be a profit. You could even hunt a little but of Plains of Havoc if your brave and know what your doing.

Here is where people who have premium start to gain a lead on those without it. Premium people can now hunt tombs. Level 20 is where you can start to hunt the second level of some tombs. By now you should have a fairly good grasp on hunting with distance so you should be fine.

Again I would suggest looking around for other places as well because a lot of times tombs are taken.

At level 25 it is time to try and solo your first dragon. So long as you have a better healing spell and don't let your hp go to low because dragons can spam for a fair bit of damage. Don't wear your best equipment because its very possible you will die. This isn't for hunting but rather a test of your skills as a paladin. I wouldn't suggest trying this with anything less then distance of 55 or better yet 60. Again this isn't for profit.

-Spells
I haven't gone over spells because you can just look in the wiki to find what ones you can learn when. I wouldn't personally buy any of the rune spells until you can make the more powerful ones but that is just me.

-Equipment for 20+
This is where pallys have an advantage. You don't really need to spend a lot of money on equipment because you shouldn't be close enough to get hit to begin with. Buy better things as you see fit. There is no one good way to better equipment. Every piece helps

Paladins are extremely flexible when it comes to hunting. If you get bored of a place you have a TON of others to choose from.
